The Department of Emergency Medicine’s educational programs encompass the full spectrum of emergency training - from teaching bystander CPR courses to training physicians from around the world. Our faculty is teaching medical student and resident physician education at The George Washington University Medical Center and sponsors fellowship training for graduates of emergency medicine residency programs.
As an additional part of our mission, we strive to provide the most up-to-date training in all aspects of emergency care. We currently provide many local and regional organizations with on-site CPR/First Aid Training. Also, we are able to offer Continuing Medical Education (CME) in any of the AHA Professional courses. We can even develop customized curriculum for your emergency preparedness needs.
