Research
The Department of Emergency Medicine has a very active research program, covering all aspects of clinical emergency medical care. Nearly all of the clinical faculty are active participants in research projects which include clinical, administrative and laboratory research.
The Department has a full time research nurse, and clinical studies are supported by academic research associates who provide research coverage in the ED from 8am-midnight throughout the week.
