The Emergency Medicine Residency Program at the George Washington University is sponsored by the George Washington University Medical Center in cooperation with its affiliates at the INOVA Fairfax Hospital and the Prince George's Hospital Center.
The Department of Emergency Medicine at George Washington has been a full academic department within the Medical Center since 1981. The faculty are fully integrated into the activities of the Medical School, the Medical Faculty Associates, and the clinical, educational, and research endeavors of the Medical Center.
We believe that the success of our program over the past twenty years is directly correlated with the breadth and intensity of clinical experiences, the robust and direct educational program, and an environment that promotes clinical investigation and personal growth.
