Grand Rounds
Grand Rounds are held every Wednesday morning, rotating among the three institutions: George Washington Hospital, INOVA Fairfax Hospital, and Prince George's Hospital Center.
Additional educational conferences, traditionally held at George Washington, occur throughout the year. Examples include combined conferences are held with other specialities such as Internal Medicine and Surgery, Teaching Rounds with Radiology, and EKG Conferences.
The vast majority of Grand Rounds speakers come from the Emergency Medicine faculty at George Washington University, INOVA Fairfax Hospital, and Prince George's Hospital. Selected Emergency Medicine faculty from the immediate area and across the country, often leaders in the field of Emergency Medicine are also invited to lecture.
