The Department of Emergency Medicine has the privilege of supporting the US Navy’s mission of providing the highest level of emergency medical care to our Sailors, their family members, retirees, and other eligible beneficiaries at the National Naval Medical Center in Bethesda, Maryland. Faculty from our practice provides 24 hour, 7 days a week clinical coverage in this moderate volume military emergency department. Our role is not just limited to clinical services but also includes the education of rotating residents, medical students, and physician assistant students.
