In addition to the required 4th year GW medical student rotation, the Department of Emergency Medicine is pleased to offer GWU students and visiting students a variety of clinical and didactic courses. The Emergency Medicine faculty are some of the most active teachers in the medical center. Together with our residents, fellows, and staff, we are excited to share our knowledge and experience with students interested in exploring careers in emergency medicine. In addition, emergency medicine providers possess particular skills that can augment the practice of providers in a variety of fields.
