In late October, I found myself in the unenviable situation of having what appeared to be an infected toe on my left foot. I was enrolled to run in the 2007 Marine Corps marathon the upcoming weekend. Dr. Sikka arrived at my hotel in Arlington within 45 minutes complete with what he would need to perform the examination and other procedures if necessary (they were not). He was polite and professional helpful. He diagnosed an infection and was able to provide me a prescription for an antibiotic which would clear up the infection in time for me to run in the marathon. All said and done, I was able to get a good night sleep, rectified the infection, and ran in the marathon. I was grateful for the service provided. -John H., New Mexico
