This program is dedicated to saving lives by disseminating life-saving technologies and providing training and education to the general public to respond to emergency situations. The program will develop and test innovations in the pre-hospital response to emergencies by non-medical providers. Our program will strengthen the critical early defibrillation link in the chain of survival, thereby helping to save thousands of lives.
This program will become the leading provider of AED support services in the national capitol region. The program will develop strategic partnerships both to support its core mission and to provide AED and additional first-responder programs services throughout the world.
To provide policies and procedures for trained volunteers (non-medical personnel) to follow in the event of a sudden cardiac arrest emergency at this facility. These policies and procedures will enable trained personnel to provide rapid defibrillation before the arrival of emergency medical services (EMS).
