Event Medical Services

Services Provided

 

  • Licensed Medical Providers to provide First Aid services to any participant at your event.

     

     

  • Medical documentation for all persons treated during the event, with all records maintained at the Department of Emergency Medicine at George Washington University.

     

     

  • Emergency Physicians practicing at The George Washington University Medical Center will be available for consultation by the Medical Provider during your event.

     

     

  • Medical Providers will report to the contact person for your event and will remain on site during the requested hours.

     

     

  • Medical Providers will supply all medical supplies needed during your event.

     

     

  • The name of the Medical Provider and a George Washington Emergency Contact will be provided prior to the start of your event.

    Explanation of Proposal Process and Acceptance:

    1. A request for proposal is submitted to Kyle Majchrzak at the above contact information.
    2. A proposal will be submitted, within two business days, by either via fax or email for review.
    3. A signed acceptance of the proposal, prior to the 'Acceptance Deadline' must be faxed to 202-741-2921 for it to be considered binding and to begin the process of locating a medical provider. Depending on the size of the event, the acceptance date will be between three to eight weeks prior to the start of your event.
    4. A health care provider will be secured for your event.
    5. A few weeks prior to the start of your event, an email will be sent with your provider's name and contact information as well as an emergency contact.
    6. Payment is expected, either via check or credit card, prior to the start of your event.
