DISTRICT OF COLUMBIA - The Department of Emergency Medicine of The George Washington University is seeking physicians for our academic practice. Physicians are employed by the Medical Faculty Associates, an independent non-profit academic practice group affiliated with The George Washington University. The medical group provides staffing for the Emergency Units of George Washington University Hospital, Prince George's Hospital Center and the National Naval Medical Center, and manages a number of consulting practices. The Department sponsors an Emergency Medicine Residency, a wide variety of student programs, several postgraduate fellowships, and an active clinical research effort.
We are seeking physicians who will participate in our clinical and educational programs and contribute to the Department's research and consulting agenda. Applications from physicians with interests in the medical informatics, bedside diagnostic imaging and emergency public health-related areas are encouraged.
Basic Qualifications: Physicians should be residency trained in Emergency Medicine. University faculty rank will be commensurate with experience.
