Interest Sections
We currently provide physician and PA staffing for four hospitals, manage a hospital-based Hyperbarics/Wound Care program and have a broad range of academic and consulting activities. The Department has been divided into sections to help organize our academic focus.
In addition to our medical school and EM residency programs, we offer Fellowships in International Emergency Medicine, Toxicology, Health Policy, EMS Disaster, and ED Administration.
Consulting activities include work for the travel assistance industry, US commercial fishing and commercial shipping industries, and base operations support for the US military. As part of an academic multispecialty group practice, we actively collaborate in both the clinical and academic realms with our colleagues in other specialties.
