The Department of Emergency Medicine has the privilege of supporting the Washington DC VA Medical Center mission of providing the highest level of emergency medical care to our Vetrans, their family members, retirees, and other eligible beneficiaries at the Washington DC VA Medical Center. Faculty from our practice provides 24 hour, 7 days a week clinical coverage in this moderate volume VA emergency department. Our role is not just limited to clinical services but also includes the education of rotating residents, medical students, and physician assistant students.
